"Finding myself single after 23 years and having spent almost a year in a rental home while looking for property, I had one major goal and that was to find a beautiful home to settle into with my two teenage sons. Gann Construction gave us that beautiful home.

"We started our search for a second home in the Desert Aire community of Eastern WA in August of 2020. At the same time, it seemed as though everyone from the Seattle area was looking for an escape from Covid and moving to the East side of the mountains. We looked at resales and new modular homes before we met Jake Gann. Gann Construction had a home under construction that we knew was perfect for us the first time we walked through it and talked to Jake. We made an offer that day. The home was nearing completion, so we didn’t need to make many decisions on completion. "Your house is the biggest purchase you will ever make. Our family has gone through several home purchasing & selling processes and each time we moved, we truly never felt settled until we purchased our Gann Constructed home. 

We recently purchased our home and moved to the Chelan area. We viewed all houses through online images and many times when you physically tour the home, the pictures and house sometimes match but you always find things that never align. However, this house checked all of our boxes and we had to tour this home immediately. 

The house has a beautifully designed kitchen with up-to-date features, the layout was well thought out to accommodate a family-friendly lifestyle, and all of the interior & exterior finishes were clean, modern and well designed to last a life time. "With retirement within sight, we decided to take advantage of a good Real Estate market and look for a retirement home. We decided to move away from the Seattle area to Eastern Washington. We narrowed our search to Desert Aire. It was an easy choice for us because

we had several friends with vacation homes in that area.

We looked at the existing used home inventory. Nothing matched our expectations. We spoke with manufactured home builders. This was a possibility but we decided to continue our search.

“A Friend of a Friend” - We had a chance to take a walk through of a house in Desert Aire that was built by Gann Construction. We immediately noticed and appreciated the Fit and Finish of our friends house. We asked for contact information for Gann Construction.

Building a house was a first time experience for us and it was extremely important to find the right builder to help us with this endeavor.

Our first contact with Jake was a telephone call. We had identified a property and asked Jake for his input on a possible build. Jake made the time to visit the property and confirmed his desire to become our builder.

Jake had built several homes in the Desert Aire community and was very helpful in navigating the whole process. This included suggesting an architect, submitting our plans to the Desert Aire H.O.A. and helping with obtaining building permits from Grant County.

Result

We are now full time residents in Desert Aire in our house that was built by Gann Construction. Our house has survived 97 mph wind storms and sub-zero temperatures and has proved to be as well built as we expected.

Jake has been a valuable partner. He is an experienced builder and has a large circle of suppliers. He is always available to answer questions and was very helpful in working with my wife on selections of materials for the exterior and interior of our house.
